Amway - Quixtar's Billy Florence: The Empire Strikes Back

Quixtar News: Billy Florence:
"Eric Janssen Fact Errors

Eric Janssen has been publicly disseminating false information about Billy Florence, Rich Florence and the Qrush blog. Billy Florence has requested that Eric Jansen remove the false, inaccurate, and damaging information from his webraw site. As of this date, Eric Janssen has not done the honorable thing. Janssen has not apologized for spreading malicious rumors nor has he removed the offending references to Billy Florence or Rich Florence . Mr. Janssen’s behavior may appear to some as malicious or self-serving. Eric Janssen identifies Scott Larsen site (Larsen, a critic known for making multiple, inaccurate and false statements on his amquix site) as one rumor resource. "

I wonder how many days will pass before Qrap will post about Janssen or change the title of his blog again. In the halls of the IBOAI, a deep bellowing voice can be heard, "Qrush, I am your father".

I read Eric Janssen's post. You've got to be kidding. Eric passed along facts... sure the content of Scott Larsen's website isn't verified (but it does say what it says), and I'm sure you don't like what either of them do. It's simply not clear why you'd expect your critics not to report on each other, and to ask you some hard questions. Eric appears to meet the standards of fair reporting on this one.

You don't have to be a genius to figure out that "Qrush" has something to gain by choosing to remain anonymous, otherwise, he (or she) would reveal his (or her) identity. You don't have the moral high ground here, and don't insult us by suggesting otherwise. In the blogosphere, you can't simply demand that someone write their opinions to favor you or ignore something unfavorable that someone else writes, and call him dishonorable if he doesn't meet your expectations. Doing the right thing, by whatever name you call it, is not a quid pro quo. In other words, it's not something you do when someone else has done the right thing by you. It's something you do all the time.

In reference to the March 10 comment: "Scott Larsen's website isn't verified (but it does say what it says). . ." Yes I do agree that it does say what it says. What else would it say? Have you ever read Ayn Rand? I think you'd like her.
