Quixtar: A Living Wage?
Thanks to the debates last night, the issue of raising the minimum wage is again a political topic. Currently, in the United States, the minimum wage is $5.15 per hour. I would almost bet that Quixtar and perhaps the AQMOs should be against any minimum wage increase, let alone the proposed amount of $7.00 per hour I heard mentioned last night. Raising the minimum wage could do more to drive many IBOs from the business; much more than a mere handful of "Quixtar Negative" sites could ever do.
This may be an old exercise but....
Average IBOs earns $115 per month in bonuses paid by Quixtar as reported by Quixtar literature.
AQMOs teach building plan for IBOs to spend 8-15 hours a week pursuing a Diamond lifestyle.
Using the low number of hours to "invest" of only 8 hours per week, how does this shape up in terms of hourly wage earnings?
8 hours per week
4.3 weeks in a month
34 hours per month (Actually a little over - 34.4 hours)
$115 per month average bonus check
Average hourly wage for a Quixtar business = $3.38 per hour, rounded up.
There are some restaurants that pay their waiters and waitresses more than that on base pay alone before tips. So, when the average IBO sets up a meeting with a prospect at a restaurant for coffee, the waitperson may actually be making more.
So, when some self-appointed "defender" of the average IBO claims to be striking out for all the abuse Quixtar has been subjected to, just remember they are defending the IBOs right to earn $3.38 per hour on average. These defenders must be working for free. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of money to go around.
(Tapes, books, and functions....the Diamonds hedge against inflation.)
Good advice might be to stick to the home meetings, bring your own coffee. No tipping required.
